The trail passes through traditional shepherd huts located in various parts of Zakopane – from Kuźnice, through Harenda and Olcza, to Polana Szymoszkowa. It is there, in wooden huts run by Podhale shepherds, that traditional oscypek, bundz, and żętyca are made according to recipes passed down from generation to generation. Visiting these places allows you not only to taste regional cheeses but also to learn about the daily life of a shepherd and the unique shepherding culture of Podhale.

The route also includes characteristic oscypek stalls on Krupówki – in the very heart of Zakopane – where regional flavors have long been an important element of local tradition and tourist appeal.

Located near the chair lift in Harenda, the shepherd's hut of Maciej Hyc- Myrmuła is a place where you can experience the authentic shepherding traditions of Podhale. In the wooden hut, according to old recipes and customs passed down from generation to generation, traditional sheep cheeses are made, including oscypek and bundz.

Surrounded by a mountain landscape, the hut delights with its regional character and allows visitors to see the daily work of the shepherd during the seasonal sheep grazing. It is a unique spot on the map of Zakopane, where the shepherding culture and the taste of true Podhale are still alive.

Located on Olcza Gawlaki, the shepherd's hut , run by shepherd Jan Pawlak "Socka", is a place where the old pastoral traditions of Podhale are still preserved. In the wooden hut, according to a long-standing custom, regional sheep cheeses are made, including traditional oscypek, bundz, and żętyca.

Surrounded by a mountainous landscape and the tranquility of Podhale meadows, the hut delights with its authentic character and the atmosphere of a true shepherd's farm. This unique place allows visitors to learn about shepherd culture, see the daily work of sheep grazing, and taste regional products prepared according to traditional recipes passed down from generation to generation.

Located at the foot of Gubałówka, near Polana Szymoszkowa, the sheepfold is one of the places where you can feel the true atmosphere of Highlander shepherding traditions. The host of the sheepfold is shepherd Józef Król, who preserves long-standing customs related to sheep grazing and the production of regional cheeses.

During the season, traditional oscypek, bundz, and żętyca are made here according to old recipes. The wooden sheepfold, the view of the Tatras, and the sheep grazing nearby create a unique atmosphere that has attracted both locals and tourists visiting Zakopane for years. It is an excellent opportunity to experience the authentic flavors of Podhale and to explore the region's shepherding culture more closely.

Located on the road leading from Kuźnice towards the Tatra trails, Andrzej Staszel's shepherd's hut 'Furtki' is a place where the old pastoral traditions of Podhale are still alive. For generations, regional cheeses have been made here according to traditional recipes, and oscypek cheeses are produced from the milk of sheep grazing in the nearby mountain pastures.

The wooden shepherd's hut, the characteristic smell of smoke, and the sight of grazing sheep create a unique atmosphere in this place and allow visitors to feel the true character of highlander culture.
