Located on the road leading from Kuźnice towards the Tatra trails, Andrzej Staszel's shepherd's hut 'Furtki' is a place where the old pastoral traditions of Podhale are still alive. For generations, regional cheeses have been made here according to traditional recipes, and oscypek cheeses are produced from the milk of sheep grazing in the nearby mountain pastures.

The wooden shepherd's hut, the characteristic smell of smoke, and the sight of grazing sheep create a unique atmosphere in this place and allow visitors to feel the true character of highlander culture. It is one of the points on the Zakopane map where one can get to know the authentic pastoral traditions of the region and try products prepared according to long-established customs.
